Good Food on Montford is the sophomore effort of award-winning local chef Bruce Moffett. Taking his experiences Barrington's Restaurant, Bruce set off to create a tapas inspired restaurant with his brother Kerry. With a focus on the extensive use of local and organic products, combined with comfortably humble decor, the results can only be described as Good Food on Montford.
Prior to working full-time as the Executive Chef at Good Food, Kerry honed his skills by working for eight years as the Executive Sous Chef of Barrington's Restaurant. During this time he was able to work at one of Charlotte's most well respected restaurants and perfect the craft that is now on display at Good Food.
Kerry is a graduate of the Culinary Program at Stratford College in Falls Church, Virginia and currently lives in Charlotte.
Not able to do this alone, Kerry surrounds himself with staff both transplanted and shared with Barrington's. This provides a unique experience for both staff and customers as many of the faces and personalities you've come to know can be seen in a different space.
